XS Promotion for April

I wanted to remind you of the Xs promo in April ONLY – 1 free case when you buy 5 and get 1 free. We think there is a good case (no pun intended) that there is a chance Amway might consider continuing this promotion on a regular basis if they see a significant boost in XS volume. IBO profit-per-can doubles, from 33 cents to 65 cents IBO Cost – becomes $23.30 at ibo cost with this promo vs $32.75 at regular ibo cost and $36.71 at regular customer cost ($26.88 SRP & $7.95 shipping & $1.88 tax (at 7%). The breakdown: $23.30 with the promo [$19.10 per case + $2.32 shipping & $1.88 tax (at 7%)] vs$32.75 at regular $23 ibo cost & $7.95 shipping & $1.88 tax (at 7%). Twelve Tips for a Positive Attitude

More than 100 years ago, author Robert Louis Stevenson offered the following tips for maintaining a positive attitude.  They still apply today.

1.  Make up your mind to be happy.  Learn to find pleasure in simple things.

2.  Make the best of your circumstances.  Everyone has problems.  The trick is to make laughter outweigh the tears.

3.  Don’t take yourself too seriously.  Don’t think that somehow you should be protected from misfortunes that befall others.

4.  You can’t please everybody.  Don’t let criticism worry you.

5.  Don’t let your neighbor set your standards.  Be yourself.

6.  Do the things you enjoy doing, but stay out of debt.

7.  Don’t borrow trouble.  Imaginary burdens are harder to bear than the actual ones.

8.  Hate poisons the soul, so don’t carry grudges.  Avoid people who make you unhappy.

9.  Have many interests.  If you can’t travel, read about new places.

10. Don’t hold post-mortems.  Don’t spend your life brooding over sorrows and mistakes.

11. Do what you can for those less fortunate than yourself.

12. Keep busy at something.  A busy person never has time to be unhappy.

Rising Cost of Shipping! Internet Services has fought hard to keep shipping costs economical for our IBO’s. We have held the line for 5 years but yearly rate increases and rising fuel costs have now pushed shipping costs higher than we can continue to absorb. All major carriers have announced major rate increases again for 2012. Starting May 1st 2012, we are forced to pass some additional cost on to IBO’s.Internet will continue to be diligent in keeping costs low. We will be changing our tier pricing structure from 9 levels to 6 and implementing all Flat Rates instead of % of sales at higher values. US Orders For US IBO’s we are raising rates a modest $0.25 per tier for orders less than $100. Orders above $100 will be flat rates standard ship categories. Expedited shipments and Air will require call for quotes. Standard service is our most economical choice. In most cases these will ship via the Postal Services and can only be used for orders under $100. Transit time will be 7 to 10 days in the US. We continue to offer UPS 3-Day Select as well as 2nd Day and Next Day Air services with UPS/FedEx.
